An Aid for GSA Action Plans
Here, we provide the tools necessary for you to build and carry out your action plan in three easy steps: design, develop, and deliver.
What is an action plan?
One of the many goals of Sc3 is to stimulate and enable effective commitments to action. While at Sc3, students are asked to create the framework for their Action Plan, or AP, (an action-based, year-long project) that addresses an environmental or ecological challenge they see in their school, home or community.
Fellows use the Action Plan Toolkit based off of the GSA’s 21 Resource Groups as well as assess their project feasibility using S.M.A.R.T (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, Timeline) to Design, Develop and Deliver a concrete and well thought out project.
Plans can be small or large, local or global... from creating an e-waste drive to transforming an urban lot into a wildlife habitat, to launching an educational campaign or lobbying for reform on state policies.
