Exploring Stormwater Management and Stewardship Opportunities : Climate Change Education Virtual Workshop Series
NYC Department of Environmental Protection in collaboration with the Climate and Resilience Education Task Force and the NYC Mayor’s Office invite you for a 3-part Climate Change Education Virtual Workshop Series on Wednesday, September 23, September 30, and October 7, 2020, from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM. This professional learning opportunity will feature presentations and break-out discussions that highlight different topics covered in DEP's multi-disciplinary Climate Change Education Module, such as environmental stewardship, climate policy, and school sustainability.
This professional learning opportunity is geared towards 2nd-12th grade teachers. Teachers will have first priority when registering. Non-formal educators who register will be placed on a waitlist and notified a week beforehand should a spot become available. Participants are strongly encouraged to register for all three sessions. Space is limited.
