This badge signifies schools or districts that have made the Call to Action Leadership Commitment to set goals, take action, and monitor and share progress along the following action areas: reduce our climate and ecological impact; educate and engage the community; and connect to nature. 

Leadership Commitment:
Climate Steward

This badge signifies schools or districts that have made the Climate Steward Leadership Commitment to calculate their organization's carbon footprint by establishing an energy and carbon emissions baseline and achieve carbon reductions over time. 

Leadership Commitment:
Climate Champion

This badge signifies schools or districts that have made the Climate Champion Leadership Commitment to reduce their organization's carbon footprint by at least 30% within five years and achieve carbon neutrality by 2020.
