60-Second Solution™ Video Guidelines

Share your knowledge and ideas with others. Here's how:
- Listen to what others are saying, and tell us in your own words:
- What are YOUR concerns about the environment;
- What you or your school are doing [or what everyone should do] to solve the problem; and
- What is your vision for the future.
- Name your video file: "60-Second Solution - Your Name".

The Green Cup Video Challenge is an optional component of the GCC, though all schools are encouraged to participate. The purpose of these student-written and -produced videos is for presentation to the school community to create awareness, excitement and motivation about the Challenge.
- Purpose: A student written and directed video for presentation to the school community to create awareness, excitement and motivation about the Challenge.
- Theme: Creativity and individual style are encouraged. The video is intended to raise awareness about Climate Change and the environment and what everyone can do to make a difference.
- Deadline: Videos should be submitted by February 12, 2010. (Extended deadline.)
- Length: 2-3 minutes suggested maximum (public service announcement).
- Format: Videos must be in .avi, .mov, or .mp4 format.
- Size: Videos must not be larger than 300mb.
- Posting: Name your video file: "Green Cup Challenge 2010 - Your School's Name". Click here to upload your video.
- Submissions: Student video submission is limited to one video per school.
- Judging: Judging is an on-line student peer process-one vote per student.
- Don'ts: Don't include the names of students anywhere in the video; Don't include material that is sexually explicit or suggestive, unnecessarily violent, or derogatory of any ethnic, racial, gender, religious, professional or age group, profane or pornographic, or contain nudity. Don't promote alcohol, illegal drugs, tobacco, firearms, or weapons.
- Copyright and Trademark Laws: Each entry must be original and created for the 2010 GCC and must respect all Trademark and Copyright Laws. The Green Cup ChallengeT reserves the right to disqualify any entry for any reason, in its sole and absolute discretion. View YouTube's copyright tips.
