ExploraVision Awards
ExploraVision encourages k-12 students of all interest, skill and ability levels to create and explorea vision of future technology by combining their imaginations with the tools of science All inventions and innovations resultfrom creative thinking and problem solving.
Cool Schools Challenge
The Cool School Challenge aims to motivate students, teachers, and school districts to reduce carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gas emissions school-wide in a competitive national “challenge.”
Junior Duck Stamp Program To Promote Education and Creativity
The Federal Junior Duck Stamp Program is an art and science curriculum designed to teach youngsters about environmental science and habitat conservation. Pick a species of waterfowl, learn about its natural history and habitat needs and then paint it. The national winner receives a $2500 prize.

Carbon County Envirothon
The Envirothon is about challenging our youth. One way to give them tools they need to become effective decision-makers is to have them participate in the Envirothon. The Envirothon is about teamwork, competition and winning attitudes!
Igniting Creative Energy Competition
The Challenge to students is simple: Step 1 - Learn how an individual's own wise energy choices and environmental stewardship can help reduce energy consumption and improve the community in which we live. Step 2 - Ignite your creative energy to explore new and creative ways to make a difference in the way you use energy. Step 3 - Use your creative talents to communicate your energy ideas and actions to others.
SMARTT Challenge ( Students Making Advancements in Renewable Transportation Technology)
The SMARTT Challenge is an alternative fuel education program, unique because of its integration of several disciplines, including math, science, engineering, language arts and more. The SMARTT Challenge asks hundreds of students from across the southeast to race their custom-built electric cars and trucks in the culmination final event.
