Green Resource Fairs™
[April 17, 2010] Bringing together schools, families, resource providers, experts and elected officials, these grassroots community-based Green Resource Fairs™ have been a great success. Fairs are being planned in cities worldwide on April 17, 2010 to promote brainstorming, education, and community building. They create an opportunity to provide training break-out sessions, listen to speakers, and share of “best practices” by schools, government agencies, not-for-profits, and corporate green resource providers.
Climate Quilt Campaign

Students4Sustainability
St. Stephen's & St. Agnes School in Alexandria, Virginia hosted their second annual Students 4 Sustainability (S4S) Conference on Monday, November 2, 2009. Student representatives from DC Metro area independent high schools and Alexandria City high schools were invited to attend the day of education, discussion, and planning for environmental sustainability in our schools. The conference included an opening keynote address, several breakout groups/roundtable discussions led by students and adults, and a closing lunch with a performance by poet Joshua Bennett and some door prizes!
