GSA National Student Coordinator honored at the Captain Planet Foundation Awards

Alison Krauss, Ted Turner, GSA board member Laura Turner Seydel, Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member Phaedra Parks, Jeff Corwin  and more turn out to support the Captain Planet Foundation at the Georgia Aquarium. The purpose of this charitable evening was to raise funds for the Captain Planet Foundation (CPF), whose mission is to support environmental education through grant giving. The Foundation’s key objective is to inspire children around the world to work both collectively and as individuals to become the next generation of environmental stewards. GSA Advisory Board member and Oceanographer Dr. Sylvia Earle and GSA National Student Coordinator Eric Estroff were honored. Click here for CNN video coverage.
