the Zayed Future Energy Prize announced a new category, the Global High School Prize, to be awarded for the first time during the Prize’s 5th annual Awards Ceremony in Abu Dhabi, UAE in January 2013. Avon Old Farms School celebrated the newly installed 205kW solar array, the largest of any private school in Connecticut and all of New England, with its student body, faculty, staff, and its Board of Directors on Friday.
