  • Join the Discussion through GSA On-line
  • Host a GSA Green Resource Fair™ to grow your local/state green community
  • Host a green fundraising event
  • Encourage Student Presentations to influence decision-makers & educate school
  • Launch a Signage Program to create campus awareness
  • Create a green page on your school website or through the GSA One MIllion Acts of Green
  • Start or strengthen a student environmental club
  • Make green the theme of fun green events such as a school fair, film festival, speaker night, fashion show or green swap
  • Measure, reduce, and share large and small progress with the GSA
  • Write articles about your green goals and accomplishments for the school newsletter and website; tell local media and share these with the GSA
  • Include sustainability expectations in job postings, handbooks and performance Reviews
  • Encourage students to advocate for green change at the town or state level, to write decision-makers and participate in green groups (see Beyond the School Walls).
