- Start or strengthen a student environmental club
- Make green the theme of fun green events such as a school fair, film festival, speaker night, fashion show or green swap
- Measure, reduce, and share large and small progress with the GSA
- Write articles about your green goals and accomplishments for the school newsletter and website; tell local media and share these with the GSA
- Include sustainability expectations in job postings, handbooks and performance Reviews
- Encourage students to advocate for green change at the town or state level, to write decision-makers and participate in green groups (see Beyond the School Walls).
