Ken Sheinkopf is Vice President of The Sheinkopf Group, a national energy education consulting firm. He directed the Public Affairs Division of the Florida Solar Energy Center from 1983 - 2007. His areas of expertise include public relations, outreach, marketing, and fundraising. Since 1986, Ken has written a weekly newspaper column on home energy that is nationally syndicated to more than 400 newspapers and magazines. He is co-author of the Consumer Guide to Solar Energy; Successful Fundraising, and Energy Efficient Florida Home Building. He was Editor of the Mini-Review of Active (Thermal) Solar Energy 1995, published internationally by the Centre for the Analysis and Dissemination of Demonstrated Energy Technologies (CADDET). From 1988 through 1995, he was based in Washington, D.C. where he served as Deputy Director of the Solar Energy Industries Association, Contracts Manager of the U.S. Export Council for Renewable Energy, and Executive Vice President of the Solar Energy Research and Education Foundation.
