Blanche Sheinkopf is President of The Sheinkopf Group (TSG), a national energy education consulting firm. During the past seven years, her clients have included the EnergySmart Schools program of the U.S. Department of Energy and the ENERGY STAR for schools program of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. TSG recently completed a new “Get Smart About Energy” CD for the Dept. of Energy with nearly 100 lessons and activities for teachers on energy and environmental topics. An educator and curriculum writer for more than 25 years at levels ranging from pre-kindergarten through university, she has been a College of Education faculty member at three universities, and was the coordinator of Education and Training Programs at the Florida Solar Energy Center. She was founder and CEO of Central Florida Research Services, a full-service market research company, for 11 years. She has served on the boards of several organizations including the American Solar Energy Society and the Educational Energy Managers Association of Florida.
